Things to Say is a transdisciplinary performance that merges theatrical gesture and contemporary dance to explore the sociopolitical upheaval in Colombia during the national strikes of 2019 and 2021. Through a visceral language of movement, the piece embodies the tension, defiance, and resilience of a society confronting systemic inequality, police violence, and the fight for justice. By weaving personal narratives with collective memory, it amplifies silenced voices and untold stories, transforming the stage into a space of resistance and reflection. Blurring the boundaries between art and activism, the performance invites audiences to confront the complexities of collective struggle while envisioning possibilities for change and reconciliation.
