The work invites viewers to contemplate difficult conversations and awkward embraces, emerging from an audit of objects within the CasCaDas object archive. This audit examines various facets of the objects, including their form, material, size, historical significance, sentimental value, and their potential for continuation or discontinuation.

In deconstructing these works, the installation honours the complexity and adaptability inherent in shared experiences, making room for emergent narratives in the tangled knot of existence.

The performer engages with objects in the space, blending the organic and inorganic, exploring the boundaries between animate and inanimate, flesh and clay, surface and skin. Each gesture transforms the objects into participants, highlighting their materiality and vulnerability.

As the performer deconstructs and rearranges the environment, a tension emerges. The room feels alive yet unfixed, poised between cohesion and collapse.
